    Southwest Tennessee

Found two nice projectiles on a piece of private land outside of Saulsbury, TN.
A dropped .68 Minie and a .52 fired Sharps Ringtail. Both found 8-10" depth with E-trac.

The .68 is in nice shape , congrats on the lead !! do you suspect they were from a large engagement or just a skirmish??

It would appear from the area that they are from skirmish. Was on small plot that borders the Memphis to Charleston. Found plenty of old iron, but no type of buttons or brass at all. Nice creek running through property with lots of flooding over time. Hit enough cans and modern debris to fill several 5 gallon buckets.

Nice nab on the old lead. Always great to find civ-era goodies.
