    Eagle cuff button help

My buddy found this cuff button today and sent me pictures of it to try and identify it. But, I am at a loss. At first I thought it was a one piece button but after enlarging the pictures I now think it is a two piece. The eagle looks like it may be military but I can't remember seeing one like it. Maybe it is because it's a cuff size, I don't know. The backmark reads Scovills/Superfine. I have looked in my references without success.
