    First Large Cent!

Went out for about an hour today at the cellar hole I've been going to for the past few hunts. It started to pour 30 minutes in. However I had a really good day! I ended up finding an 1843 Large Cent and some other interesting objects such as a buckle that says Paris on the back, a little part that says "Ford A" And a real nice late 1800s spoon! Not bad!!

Congrats on your first LC. It's a petite head small letters variety, which they struck in the early part of the year before the transition to the mature head variety which was to last until the end of the production date (1857). Really like your shot with the coin and flag.
