    Interesting...

    Hi all,
Got out to a new park this morning for a few hours. It surrounds a stone quarry turned lake that has a beach, woods, and history to the 1880s. Well, turns out the beach area was clean, only a few clad. I moved on to an area where there are old foundations and walls from the quarry days and found the mineralization was so bad it was almost undetectable and only pulled a few clad.
But on a hunch I moved to the far side of the park where I saw some old stone while driving by. Followed a path through the woods and eventually found more old foundations and walls. Apparently the park used some of this area for dumping old building materials in the past, but most wasn't too bad. There were signs of an old road and entrance to the quarry here too.
I had hopes, but didn't expect much being close to the road. But i did find a small aluminium spoon, big iron ring, small brass ring likely from a tarp, piece of lead, big aluminum token, and the biggest piece of float copper I have ever seen.

The quarter is for size reference.
