Another LC and a gem button???

4 Large Cents in 4 days! 1846 today, really good shape. It seems as if these 4 LC's were in a line. This one was just 5 feet away from the one I found yesterday! I also found what I think to be a button...? Any idea what it could be? It has a gold look to it and holds some sort of yellowish gem. Any ideas?

look at you !! your unstop-able now a copper magnet the other item is whats know as a wax seal matrix . they usually hung from a watch chain as a watch fob but doubled as a letter sealer . Back in those days people signed their letters and used a blob of wax to seal it shut and the matrix sometime had images carved into the glass stone and when this was pressed into the hot wax it would leave an image onto the wax. yours may be colonial or mid 1800s depending on the shape and design. its a great and interesting find Owen .
