    CW Eagle Button with "I" in middle. First "I" button.



    Was hunting a part of our park that used to be part of the town that was wiped out by floods in 1913 and 1937. Found a flat button, something dated 1869 and this cool CW Eagle button with a "I" I believe is for infantry. Only thing I can read so far on the back is "Extra Quality" Now I have a R, I, and C CW buttons.Name:  cw button1.JPG

    Nice score. Prob supposed to say Extra Quality. I cannot find who made them. I know there were some infantry buttons that had the Scoville name but idr any of the other manufacturers. Like the WWI eagles there were two makers...
