Found a Michigan Ghost Town to Detect

After speaking with the curator of our local historical society he gave me enough information to make some calls and head out to talk to some land owners. I found the site with relative ease, as well as the land owners on each side of this site. Very nice people who were happy to tell us all about the old town. The town was associated with two railroads that passed through the area. I was excited about what could be found. After finding several RR relics. We put down the detectors and started digging in one of two dumps associated with the old town. Turns out what we found was a dump from early to mid 1900's. The dump we really want was further out into the woods, but we had a really fun time bottle digging for the first time. Here's a video link to what we found this past weekend. There's a huge site here that's never been detected or dug, so we have a project to work om till the poison ivy get too thick. We've been invited to come out any time we want.
