A Few finds from This Past Week

This past week we were only able to get in a couple of short hunts.

Sunday, Alec and I hunted one yard for about an hour. Alec dug an 1896 Indian and i dug some sort of sterling clip.
If any one can tell me what it is I would appreciate it.

I stopped Friday after work and hunted an old farm house. i dug an 1851 Large Cent and a nice Sterling ring.
I hope i can get out more next week.

Some great finds there! The LC is really rare here in the midwest, congrats! The silver items look pretty nice...sorry, have no idea on the clip though. Congrats to Alec on the IH, looks to be in exceptional condition, full strong liberty and all!

It seems everyone is getting out less or just not posting. I was out last Sunday and did not get out again till yesterday. Your hunts may have been limited but getting a Large Cent is certainly a great find. Good luck getting out this week.WD

Huge congrats on getting the "rare Midwest LC". Alex's IH is in great shape. I'm thinking that the sterling clip looks to be in the Art Noveau style?? and seeing that its sterling must have been used on the outside of some clothing item.
