    whispered from the depths

At 12, this is the deepest coin I have ever dug. 20' from where i found the reale last month, I have been over this area several times. I have to attribute this to my new 10x12 SEF coil. thumbsup01 This whispered to me at a constant 00 29/28 . Sometimes this is a false signal as it is too good to be true, but reality this time. think its an 1837. Full liberty and starts, it is a nice coin. Wonder if it is a rare variety?

2 full shovel fulls down and i see the green disc ; on the top of my pile. u know that feeling!

If u don't have this coil, u should get one.

Also from another location, I found this coin but i have no clue what it is. not sure if it says 1962 or 1862, but I think a british penny? Sitting camoued by a trusty nail (they r ur friends) , this explained why it remained at 6-7

VERY nice coins! Yes I know that feeling very well! It's great to be getting that depth. I have dug a couple of those holes to China, and I'm always happy when I see a coin at the bottom

Nice finds Aaron that LC looks as if it has some nice detail also the other coin like Dan said is a 1862 Victoria 1/2 penny if it's roughly the same size as the LC or if larger a penny.

    Re: whispered from the depths

I was using the standard issue slimline coil with the SE, not the pro coil. It is a good coil but i think this one is better.

Scott, I know u were just about to hit that area but I beat u to it!

Yes, this must be a 1/2 penny as it is a bit larger than a quarter. Haven't seen one of these before...many people find them? Did u say Victoria....is this a British Coin or what is the origin?
