    Seated Quarter

Yesterday I set out for what I thought was a pretty well hidden spot, deep into the woods. Upon arrival I discovered the cellar and the surrounding area was completely trashed . I hunted the area for around 30 minutes and after not uncovering a signal good target, I decided to hike back.

I decided to swing on my way back to the car, and after a while I came across a solid high tone with my MXT Pro. I pulled out a disk, and at first I thought it was a modern Washington quarter. I rubbed off some dirt and exposed Seated Liberty! An 1857 Seated Quarter, my first seated quarter!

Grats on the seated. Not many come in that denomination so you are lucky. I have been increasingly checking the old roads more since a few finds have been coming up lately from the roads. Drops in the roads happen, just harder to find I guess..
Future goals: Capped bust coin, Flowing hair LC, Classic head LC, VT copper, MA copper, Pistareen, Two-cent pc, SLQ, GW inaugural button, Excelsior button, Civil war token, and a gold ring.
