Back to the beach and heavy surf

    Hi all,
Got back to the beach today for about 4 hours before work hoping to find another gold ring. I figured out where they are likely hiding, but it didn't go as hoped. When I arrived I discovered the lake waters were quite angry yet after the recent storms. This limited the water search to about knee deep at best, yet I still managed a few drenchings.

The good part is that a lot of sand was removed from the beach. The bad part is that whatever was there is now likely in the water and currently inaccessible. Luckily I did manage a few finds including a junker ring, a beat up silver and turquoise ring (missing most of the turquoise), a watch and a few headstamps-one of which I never heard of. I also scored I pretty nice zippered 2 pocket case which I can use on my waders.

The ring as it turns out is a spinner ring with fake turquoise. The silver inner band is pretty thin, but hey, it's silver!
