    A roman coin this week.

    After work and dinner went to a nice field near a old river.
    Getting dark after one hour.
    And then...yes a big heavy round disc.
    Must be a roman coin.
    There was a lot of iron on it.
    Take me some houres to clean but there is the head.
    Don't know yet which emperor it is.

    Nice Roman coin. I agree, it does look really thick! The Romans coins I've seen before were very tiny and thin.

    Nero. Lol. Actually I think Constantine had a right facing bust coin as well. Sweet find.
    Future goals: Capped bust coin, Flowing hair LC, Classic head LC, VT copper, MA copper, Pistareen, Two-cent pc, SLQ, GW inaugural button, Excelsior button, Civil war token, and a gold ring.
