    New park, part 2

    Hey all,
    Got back to the park for about 90 minutes tonight and again made some good finds. This time I came up with more wheats, a Chester Arthur presidential token, a '35 merc, and a silver religious medal. The coins are tough to get. Lots of small nails and other trash, and the good coins I'm typically finding at 8 to 12 inches.

    Best finds: 28 silver dime spill, 1800s Dutch customs seal.
    Oldest/best coins: Late 1700's Chinese Cash Coin, 1837 Upper Canada large cent, 1877 Seated Dime
    Oldest Relic find: 1800 Sailors Luck token

    Hey Chris, I just read that your token was made by the Scoville CT Co in the early 20th century. Nice pile of finds!

    Nice bunch of finds! I have found some of those tokens in the past, didn't know they were made by Scoville, that's cool!

    Congrats on a great bunch of finds. I really like the Chester Arthur token. It's an oldie! He was President in 1885 I believe. Great Find!!
