    The Spanish silver is King Philip V minted in Segovia, so the date range would be from 1724 to 1746. What size is it? I can't tell the denomination. What a cool find!

    the half looks to be about half of a u.s. nickel in size. Thanks for the info im weak on the id part.

    thanks nothing like digging silver in metal detecting to me except military buttons those are my 2 favorite things to dig. I dont care if its a merc or spanish just love digging it, I guess because it comes out of the ground so nice.
