Happy Birthday to our first and certainly one of our greatest presidents George Washington . A man who after the war of independence had the means and respect of the army to seize power for himself but quietly relinquished it , even after he was unanimously elected to be president he could have proclaimed himself as "king" but humbly served two terms to set an example for all others that followed .
