I spent this morning working the shallow water at an old swimming hole trying my best to find the 17 silver coins I needed to make the 700 mark, but I fell short by four. Now I am hoping to make up for the shortfall during tomorrow morning's hunt - if the weather holds up that is.
This was a wonderful sight at the bottom of the scoop. The 18k band is from the early 1900's
This Barber half too had me smiling. It's a common date, but large silver is always a welcome sight.
The Standing Liberty quarter is dateless. It took a bit of bruising from the pebbles as I attempted to retrieve it. The marks are mostly a rubbing off of the sulfide though.
Six mercury dimes and four Roosevelt.
The thirteen silver coins together.
The buffalo nickels are dated 19??, 1919, 1923, and 1927.
I like this old sterling silver locket. I believe it's my third such locket this year.
And lastly, four more religious pendants.
