Nice button Ken, wasn't a fan of buttons either till I saw people getting excited about them the same with marbles, couldn't figure out why people on the web would be happy about a marble till I saw some are worth some money LOL. Now I like finding them as well and search their types.

Very nice find! Irish militia from mid to late 1800s. Ones of this type in primo condition can fetch $50+, but alas with some corrosion your's is probably only a few bucks. Regardless a very nice find and congrats.
