Congrats...it is a 1787 CT copper. There are over 240 varieties of the 1787. Your's has enough meat left on the coin so it should be able to be identified. Did you find this in CT???

My camera is so bad that I cannot get a good photo, you can actually see all of the detail of the bust and the back, it will just not show up in the photos.....And after Lee told me that Dan said that it may be a Miller 34-ff-1, I looked it up and that is exactly what it is.
Congrats on the Connecticut copper Kevin , unfortunately the scanner doesn't do the coin any justice . I hope you can get better pictures of it up to see its beautiful detail and so I can confirm its variety .

Thanks, I did not realize that there were so many. Hope that mine is a good one.
I believe that I am finding better finds now because I just started using the Pro-mode on the ATP and quit using the standard mode....for those of you who have one.
