Thursday hunt, finally over the hump.

    Hi all,
I was able to get put for the day with FF43 at one of his old hard hit sites. Beautiful area but tough hunting with tons of trash and iron everywhere. I didn't get as much swinging time ad I hoped because my gf decided that she needed me to teach her how to use my CTX at the last moment. Guess she thinks if she uses my machine the treasures will jump out of the ground into her pouch. I think she's figuring put now that it isn't the case!
Anyhow, I only scored one good coin which is a 1913 wheat. Finally got over that century mark! I also found a pretty nice sterling ring with the stamp ftom McGrath Hamon. Some research shows it's a 1950s design, or maybe even a bit earlier.
