Another After Work Hunt / Big Silver Coin Spill

I went out after work Thursday with my friend Tim (Noah). I had two 1890s homes in mind but no one was home at either of them. In between the two houses was a house from 1911, so we decided why not. We spent about an hour on the front yard. The Silvers started popping in the first five minutes. My first hole was a Rosie and Tim's was a sterling ring. By the time we finished, I dug 3 Rosies, , 2 Washington quarters, an Indian and a spinner token.
We were about to leave, but decided to ask if we could try the back yard. The owner said that would be fine.

My first signal was a 12-47 at 2 inches. I dug the plug and pulled a 1950 Washington from about 6" down. I was wondering why it rang up so shallow until I reswept the hole. It had a friend! I flipped over the plug and checked the hole, Nothing. But when I checked the plug, BAM there it is, a 1941 Walker. Thinking that was all, I replaced the plug and reswept the hole. Not done yet, I flipped the plug again and found a 1936 merc. Wow, what a yard!! I finished the yard by finding one more Rosie.
I ended up with 8 Silvers, 1 Indian and a spinner token.
Not bad from a third choice house.
    Yes, I'll be going back!!
