A couple good keepers this weekend (pic heavy)

Hey Diggers, Don and I tried our luck in a new town. It was a very small town with many old homes. Someone must have detected the crap out of that town in years past! We hunted 6 different houses and got only 1 or 2 good targets at each one. Lots of nickels but hardly any clad even.

Nice finds still, despite the previous hunter. Looks a lot like a certain town I hit last summer with the same problem, lots of empty promise! Lol.

I really hate those roofing nails! They sound so good. Oh well, gotta take the bad with the good.

I'd say more than a couple of good keepers! You found keepers at almost every house we hit. Although we didn't find that killer house, the good finds kept coming a little at a time. That 1864 house only gave up one coin, it just happened to be a 1901 Barber quarter, Great Job!!
You ended up with a nice haul, See ya Sunday

Congrats on quality, not quantity! Gotta love those Barber Quarters. It would be very rare to get 6 "yesses" to hunt yards up here in NE on one day. Folks are just more reserved. Keep finding the goods.

Dave, even though the town was "picked over" you still managed some nice keepers.
