A couple hunts. One first, but finds were scarce.

    Hello all,
First hunt on Friday morning was at a beach site I haven't been to since last year. I hoped for a water hunt but the waves were too big to be safe-much less dry. So I was relegated to the beach which didn't give up much but mostly clad and toy cars.

I also found one junker ring.

Saturday I was able to get back to my parents farm again. I spent all afternoon there with little to speak of. I did find a large clock gear and a hem weight which was a first for me. Had me going for a moment when I saw a quarter size round piece in the dirt.

Lastly, on the way to work today I stopped by the old zoo again and pulled 5 wheats, all 40s and 50s.

Give those wheats a roll in the rock tumbler and they'll clean right up for you. Sometimes those matchbox cars can be collectible.
