The best items from today's short hunt in South Jersey. An 181?(8) Cornet Head Large Cent and a cool button.
I think it is a 1813-1815 Regiment of Riflemen button but I can't make out the # on the inside to tell which regiment it was.

Thanks all! I'm not a big button guy and I'll be honest, I was like "please don't be a button" when I was pulling it out of the plug hoping it was my first 2 cent...but I really like this one lol.
I think this one is better clarity.
I noticed the large bugle end (right side) is smaller, the left side points up rather than to the left and it does not cut into the stars like the sample. I think it's another type of button of some kind, but I can find any that look more like this one.
