XP Deus 4.0 with WS5 head phones for sale

I would like to sell my XP deus that I rarely use so I thought I would offer it up here on AD first. I have had it for almost 3 years now and have had success with it (in fact my first silver with it was the 1812 Capped Bust half dollar in a field in Ohio).

It has the 11'' coil, the bigger WS5 wireless headphones, wall charger and a few other things that I can't remember right now. I do have the original box still that I will ship it in. It is in perfect working order.

As for the price I am not sure what it should go for. I looked on eBay and saw a used one for $1200 which seems way high. So maybe $1000? Maybe $1000 is way high? Let me know what you guys think what it should go for.

If you have any questions please ask. I can get more pics too.

Also included is the original manual and a printed out 4.0 version manual. I have the receipt from where I bought it (USA detectors) so there is 1.5 to 2 years left on the original warranty.

    PM me with offers.

    thanks - Jared

I'm curious as to why your letting it go Jared ? Also does this have any kind of "instant or field charger" or a car charging unit with it ?

I do not have a car charger or the quick field charger. I usually detect no more than 5 hours at a time so I never ran out of juice. I think the batteries last about 10 hours but it can depend on what frequency you are running.

The reason I would like to sell this is mainly that I never use it. I usually only hunt parks in my area and I am so much more proficient with my Etrac that I always grab it instead of the XP. But if I lived on the east coast and hunted cellar holes then I would probably use it more than the Etrac...the deus is so much faster in the iron than the Etrac and at cellar holes you definitely want to dig every tone. So for my style of hunting the XP deus is not a perfect fit for me.

So to be honest with every one, if you are interested in this machine then I believe it would be a good fit for you if you hunt places where you like to dig everything. Like cellar holes, field sites and the like.

I would think this would be a great detector for those trashy parks as well , many parks as you know were first fields and town commons or greens , where farming work , early buildings were erected and usual busy activity that are often associated with parcels of land in the middle of a town or village. Being such a quick recovery machine it should preform very well in the thick trash to locate an isolate the gold and silver in between the junk . I have no doubt it would preform well in the quiet farm fields and around the iron infested foundations I usually hunt and I have been seriously thinking about getting a "new" machine (my main one is well over ten years old now) for quite some time . Thanks for your honest reply about the detector Bucknut .

Since I have had no offers I will be putting this up on eBay later this week for $1000. So if anyone is interested please let me know by sending a private message to me. Since I have to pay eBay 10% I would be willing to sell this for $900 to anyone on AD. I will take care of shipping too.

it is currently on eBay. There is about 1 hour left on the auction (ends at 11am EST 12-13-17) and the current bid is much higher than what I offered it here.
