Today was a shallow water detecting day. I had hoped to pick up a few silver coins, but the lake was being stingy. I did find a very nice United States Air Force sterling silver ring though. It is missing the stone unfortunately. I also picked up two religious pendants and a men's 14kt gold ring.

Too bad about the stone, but they can be purchased, as can cabachons at a fair cost. No silver coins, but precious metals just the same.I just stumbled onto a picture that was given to me by a friend, showing his dad doing lakes right around here, in the 60's and 70's. You should see the picture
