So weird it is hard to believe myself

Weather forecast was poor but starting Monday we will see nothing but 20's and below so I figured this is definitely my last chance to get out. When I told my wife I may go out she said she thought I was done after last week and it was cold and rainy. She was right but what the heck. I only lasted 1 hour but the 1st signal was a Rosie and shortly after that I found a Barber dime. I was only digging decent signals so I did not do a lot of digging. After finding the Rosie and Barber I was hoping to get a trifecta with a Merc. The weird parts: the Park I was in gave me 20 silver of which 14 were Merc's (not today) and before leaving I told my wife I would like to find 1 more Washington or a Barber Dime, but I told her I had little chance for the Barber. Well I found the Barber but could not find a Merc. My battery pack was nearly dead and I planned to stay till it died. I hit 1 more signal that appeared to be a wheatie and my machine died just as I got it pin pointed and yep is was the Merc. Definitely a strange ending. Till next spring Wisconsin Digger

Good end to the season with a fresh hot spot waiting in the spring. I like the 1926 dime. Don't see many mercs from the 1920s in any kind of good shape for some reason.

That is a great end to the season! We still have the 35-40 range for the next week with 50 degrees tomorrow. But our seasons almost done too. Nice trifecta
