    Winter detecting in New England

If you happen to be in the New England area this winter and "cabin fever" hits I would recommend you going to this !

Doug Bowden and his inner officer's & members of the "Awesome Relics of new England" detecting club do an incredible job organizing the Penguin Dig , this amazing an unusual hunt where you pay no money or fee to participate !!! only voluntary item donations are requested and these go back into the seeded hunt "treasures" . Truly a unique an innovative way to produce a large hunt that gives back to the participants. I highly encourage all to go , its a lot of fun , awesome things to find , prizes sponsored by major detector manufacturer's and you get to meet some great people who will be attending. Please keep it on your calendars for Penguin Dig #4!
