Very cool hobby Calabash, got some nice bass out of that pond!

My other "hobby" for lack of a better term is videography, with a bit of photography. Started with filming my detecting exploits and starting my YouTube channel. Then I kept expanding my equipment to better gear. Went from using a little cheap handicam and refuting on my phone, to having a couple top end DSLRs and converting my spare bedroom into a full editing suite.
I'll add better pics soon, it heres a photo of my latest video rig almost assembled. (Still waiting on some components and lenses to be delivered)

    Great bass fishing video, Calabash!

And your video rig looks impressive, Digger O'Dell!

We had a thread about this a few years ago:

I am interested in seeing everyone's additional hobbies.

Nice video Calabash. I was into fishing when I was a kid. I grew up a couple miles from a river and have a lot of good memories with my buddies.

    Awesome video set up Chris.

I would say golfing is my second passion. I have a 7 handicap and compete weekly during the golf season. My other hobby is pistol shooting for concealed carry. I’m also a fitness nut but that is really not a hobby it’s more of a life style.

Golfing, fishing (in Canada, I am too spoiled now to fish locally). I have a new respect for local history since coming back to the hobby.

Nice video Calabash. Love the 18 minnow lure, did each one have a hook?

Size: 86.5 KB I don't play as much as I did a few years ago but I still love the game. This is a photo of the first Hacker's Championship from last year. Yours truly, Del, won the inaugural match. I made a Hole-In-One a few years ago at 6:20am. I usually tee off very early when I play. I have no idea how to putt on greens without dew anymore.

Not so much anymore because detecting gets in the way. Plus most of the fields where they came from are now house lots. I easily have a thousand pieces (including broken ones).

Heres a promo video I just put together which is going to be the splash video of my web sites home page. I shot all the video and photos on various cameras, and did all the animations and effects.
Still have a lot of work to do to get the hardware working first to host the site, not to mention I've got a lot to learn about the networking end of things. But it's getting there one step at a time.

That is a real Chia Pet Drew. Got it as a gag recently when I hit the big six oh. I loved watching Bob Ross paint. Your cardinals are beautiful. You have some real talent. I have zero artistic ability but I do love to do Paint Night with my girls. Drink a few beers, have some laughs and who cares what your painting looks like. As a matter of fact, we are doing one in 2 weeks at a local pub.
