    Good Morning from Denver

I've just gotten into MD'ing and in my surfing of the web I ended up here. I think this board has a real nice feel to it. Everyone seems pretty low-key and cool about offering opinions based on their experiences and not just brand loyalty. This makes it much easier for a newbie like me to start getting his feet on the ground in this sport. Many thanks, everyone!

Glad to see you found the board, WELCOME!

You will find many, very experienced and a few gifted detector swingers here. There is a wealth of wisdom, given freely to all who ask. You will find people who love a brand, but I can't remember anyone ever bashing another brand (good natured ribbing aside). Most of us have used many different brands, and some own and use different brands based on what they hunt for.

Don't be shy, and show us what you find! We like to feed our addiction.
