It is sad to see them go, but with new companies and newer technologies/features, it is bound to happen to someone. The Chinese knockoffs got me with a "Garrett Carrot". Dummy me bought it on Ebay "new in package" and it was touted as a Garrett. It barely worked, couldn't change settings. Got into a big argument with the seller on it being a POS and he said it worked fine. Reported him to Ebay that he wasn't selling genuine Garrett parts.

Scary thing is that it looked exactly like a Garrett (I already had a Garrett carrot and wanted a backup). Just didn't work right and there wasn't a manual.

Sorry to digress on this topic, but something to think about.
