    Finds

    Newbie just learning my Simplex. Found lots of junk in my yard, pull tabs,squashed cans, other aluminum. Have found a few things, couple of memorials, quarter, and a couple of unknowns.

    You are on the right track, Bill. It looks like you are getting the hang of your Simplex. It's a hobby that requires lots of patience and perseverance. If you keep at it you will be rewarded.

    Good work! When starting out you can learn just as much from digging junk as you can from digging gold.
    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank
