    Back to the Hobby Gold!

I have been away from metal detecting for a while and decided to dust off the MX Sport and head out to one of my old swimming hole spots. I've beat this place up many times but I knew there should still be gold here. Did about four hours before my back gave out on this rocky bottom. Here is the take:

The ring isn't flashy but it seems to be a fairly old style. It has some good markings on the inside so I will find out more about it.

Well done! 10K gold out of the water seems like it was worth the back pain.
