    Spanish Silver

Not sure how much Spanish silver is in WI, but I found Spanish Speaking Silver last weekend while on a random park hunt. Just wanted to go out swinging with no plan. One of those moods. Decided on an area that no one walks on and stumbled on this. Chilean Silver 72%. 1915, so I figured I would share with you all. Never found Chilean coin before. A little smaller than a half dollar. Rang up like a silver dime.

Happy hunting all. T minus 9 days and my butt is back in the woods detecting. My favorite kind!!Name: 20231012_160940.jpg

That’s a cool find! Is that the grim reaper on that coin? ...oh it is a bird!

Well that's different. Probably an eagle but it reminds me of a buzzard.
My wife does all the driving, I just hold the steering wheel!

Thanks all. Bucknut- I though grim reaper too at first glance. Never would have guessed a condor. Thanks Tony.

Never seen one before, and certainly never thought it would be in Wisconsin-but then I've found lots of things that shouldn't be here so it's always a great surprise. Congrats on the silver!
