    Some deep green today

    I was surprised to dig this one out today at around 9 or 10 inches. 1827 Matron. Not an uncommon date, but it's one I didn't have.

    Man, I sometimes wish I lived back up north again just so I could have the chance to find relics like this. But, then I would have to put up with winter and that's a deal breaker for this old man! Nice coin and it's in decent shape. You have my permission to go find some more!
