Silver And Gold From The Lake

This morning I met up with midas to shallow water detect at a lake. The day was sunny and warm so it made for a pleasant time out there. I picked up one gold ring, two sterling silver rings, a few religious pendants, and eight silver coins.

I missed making the 800 mark by one silver coin. I guess that the 800th silver coin will have to come from a park.



The gold ring sure looked good at the bottom of the scoop.



The two sterling silver rings I picked up. They are my 39th and 40th silver rings of the year. The one in the first photo is a hefty one.





It seems that it wouldn't be shallow water detecting without finding at least one religious pendant. The two on the right are sterling silver.

799 uhhhh. That's the one that puts a stop to the silvers Not another one until January 1st Nice gold and some good condition Mercs too. It's been so dry lately that I expect the ponds to be mud puddles Lucky that the levels are so low and the temps are still bearable.
