    Anyone try 'Plasti-Dip' on gloves?

I've tried about 10 different types and settled with Atlas brand. I go through a lot of them, end up having to buy new pair after I wear small holes in my right thumb, index and middle fingers (enough of hole to do serious damage to my fingers with some of the stuff I dig----gnarly dangerous, you all know what I'm talking about...)

Anyway, I have spent so much $$$ on gloves! So I have an idea, haven't tried it yet... It's a plus that the only color they had (Do It Best Hardware- $12.95) was the same color I just bought my gloves! My idea is to just dip the finger tips as needed.

    Anyone else try this?

I never tried the plastic dip in a can before lol but if it doesn't work you can always dip some tools in it. I tried the gloves you have pictured and they get a bit hot in humid weather, but fit nice. I'm worried the can stuff may be stiffer than the plastic they dip the gloves in. You could end up with fingers that can't bend lol. Let us know how it goes.

How do you go through gloves so fast? I am still on my original pairs.

Sounds like an interesting idea though.

I use to wear the plastic dipped gloves, but they wear out fast. I would buy 2 or 3 pairs a year.
This spring, I thought I'd try something new, I purchased a pair of gloves by Bellingham Glove company.. I paid $12 for them, but they have lasted all year with very little wear to them.. Im guessing they will hold up all next year too...

Here's a link to what they look like... soft but sturdy material on the backs, leather on the fingers and palm area....

i tried those type of gloves as well and really didn't like them , they are hot and your hands can sweat in them . i like the thin mechanics gloves and use them now.

I use the Atlas Nitrile 370 gloves. They really hold up well and deliver a good tactile response. May be you should just dip your hand into that stuff Tana. Who needs a glove. lol

We'll have to get together for a hunt then you can see how. When I scoop out soil I use my hands instead of my digger? I'm not sure! I thought everyone wore holes in their gloves.
