    SMOKIN 1819 Large Cent

Got out of work early today so I went back to my SUPER DUPER SWEET SPOT and focused attention in the area I just got the Half Cent last night. This Copper was DEEP (10-12 inches ) and was barely reading on my machine but kept hitting at Half Dollar. Usually this is a piece of iron or a nail, but this was a LARGE CENT deep in the ground between rocks. This coin is in awesome shape except for the nick on the front ( not by me ) I'm not even going to clean it, I think shes beautiful the way she is. Not pictured is the pile of random iron and one pewter spoon. I've worked this site very hard and don't bother to discriminate any more. I just dig and dig and dig and dig...ect....ect....

Nice copper and what a scratch you put on it. I really like the way you painted it to hide the scratch rofl It's an old scar and we know you didn't do it What a beauty of a coin. I bet it sat just right for the water to drain. I wouldn't clean it either. Maybe just dish soap and a soft tooth brush. Sweet hunts lately!!!

Yeah I'd have to say this coin is in better condition than any other copper I've found.

HAHA...yeah it was actually sandwiched inbetween two rocks. The coin imprint was the best I've ever seen. This beauty sits high in my case.

    Man.... that is very sharp.

The depth you pulled it from is incredible. I really need to start investigating more of those deep broken signals.

    Congrats sniffy.

Being from the west coast, I've never found one.
I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
