    del,
I see you are on line tonight. it is 8:00 PM here. I am in the center of the 1849 gold rush era. Many lost stahes and misplaced bandets loot. New tecnology gives me a 1 mile detection radius. Retirement became easy.

Welcome to the forum. Jackson is certainly in the middle of gold country in California. I've done a lot of prospecting in the area south of you along CA 49. Rough country there...hope you have a Jeep.
I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
