    Check your change

    I went and picked up some groceries friday night. Got this in change <: Its even better when you dont have to dig for it.

    That's awesome! It's great when the silver is just given to you like that! It's condition is interesting, wonder if it was dug. IF not, why so cruddy?

    It was strange...the front was black but the back was spotless. A few years back I also got a 1916 Merc in my change. http://forums.whiteselectronics.com/...est-to-the-Sun!&highlight=1916+merc

    I see this coloring from time to time. it happens when coins are buried face to face. Back in the 80's I dug up a burried stash. The indian heads turned out far worse. One side like mint, the other very bad.

    Nice easy money lol What are they paying (silver value) for a dime these days, $1.50, $2.00?? Hope that is a sign of things to come

    That is lucky...I can see getting a Roosie, but a merc is very, very rare to get in change! Awsome, congrats!
