    Foriegn coins

I've been using this site for years http://worldcoingallery.com/index.php Its a nice site for looking up foriegn coins and the pictures have great detail. The only bad thing about the site is if you dont know what country the coin is from, you have to search through 1000 pages of coins looking for what you want.

I just stumbled across this a few minutes ago http://worldcoingallery.com/Inst-ID/index.html It shows some general identifying marks to help find what country its from. A real time saver!

    Re: Foriegn coins

Thanks so much for the links Steve I have many foreign coins I've been wanting to ID. I have no idea where some of them are from - I've been procrastinating looking them up because of that exact reason... (looking through 1000s) lol
