    My first small silver

Showed up when I least expected it. Me and Rusthunter were hunting a site that he researched -wa not having much luck, so started digging anything that was even a possibility--- when out popped a1853 half dime at 4 or 5 inchs. My first and I don't even remember what it read :bangahead01: but sounded good enough to dig I guess

They are tiny aren't they? Nice half dime It's in really good shape too. Congrats on that one. It just goes to show you that the hunt can be a dud and it only takes one signal to turn it completely around.

    Awesome silver.

I know how you feel... many times I just dig a signal not expecting too much when out pops a goodie.... then it's how was that reading?

Congrats on a beauty of a half dime.
