    A Cold Wet Hunt

Today was miserable out but the rain let up this afternoon and I went up to the park for a very brief hunt. Found the odd looking pin (?) and I can't makeout the stamp but possibly Silver.. A Wheat and a '55 Canadian.. Curbed my hunger for the day..

Not bad. I think that's silver, but can't really figure out what it is. I thought a bent up ring, but I don't know You braved the rain today and I'm going out tomorrow in the cold and wind. What's wrong with us lol But at least you got your fill for the day. How many of them Canadian cents do you have? If I remember correctly, I used to find them every so often in parks. I kinda like them. thumbsup01

Good looking hunt Bruce! I agree with George in that it looks like a ring instead of a pin.

I tried to straighten it out the best I could and see another stamp but still no evidence of Silver but I think it is.. I do think it was a ring at some point.. I like it..

I'd be amazed if it wasn't silver. Nice find for sure. You should pick up one of those acid kits for silver and gold... I used mine today on a tiny unmarked silver item just to verify.

    Nice work braving the rain!
