Clean out the basement?? That's an all day (maybe two day) job lol Tell her you will be so crabby for the rest of the week that it will be unbearable, unless you get some solitude detecting time. Then start whining and she will let you go thumbsup01

    Re: What to do

So, the way I explained it was, the basement will always be there. But that old silver or copper coin may be picked up by another detectorist tomorrow and will never be mine. I'll see how I feel after a nights rest on the couch..... :bangahead01:

    Howdy Pard!
Just do what I do. Explain calmly and logically that you can clear out the basement in bad weather, but can't hunt except when the weather is good. If the weather is good, you'll need to take advantage of the opportunity to get out and detect. There will be plenty of foul weather days to tackle that other chore, and it won't go anywhere until you get it done!

    Works on my wife!
