    Colonial silver spoon

    Heavymetalnut gave me the idea to get this out, and take another peek at it, by seeing his restored, I'm gonna take a shot at tapping this one back in shape. Thanks dude Got a few reales and kg coppers at this site too

    Electrolysis will that that tarnish of Rick, anytime I find super badly tarnish silver I'll use it. Otherwise I go the baking soda route, that will cut tarnish too but not real fast.

    Looks like a real nice spoon. I bet it comes out looking nice. Sometimes it's better to let someone else restore it than us doing it lol If you get it done, would love to see how it turns out. Any backmark on it??

    No markings whatsoever...... :-\

    I hope i don't mess it up, But it'll never leave my collection anyway...

    Tried laying it on a teaspoon, and tapped with a tablespoon, No luck with that......

    After seeing what a silversmith did to Dave's (heavymetalnut) spoon. I don't think you could damage it enough for them not to fix back up lol They seem to be able to do miracles with them. I guess we still have some skilled craftsmen around
