    100 coins & a few keepers

Got out today and managed to stick to my plan of digging for clad. I got skunked at a few tot lots but then hit a school field where I knew I could pull coins. It was cold, windy, and overcast, and I had to double check before each plug to make sure I wasn't about to kneel in goose crap, but it was still a good time. Managed 104 coins plus a few keepers - a neat AA token, a .925 Alexia ring, and a 1916 wheat.

I need 300 more coins to hit 10,000 for the year. Hopefully I can get out tomorrow.

    Happy hunting!

    Re: 100 coins & a few keepers

Thanks for the comments all... I'm pretty neurotic, so I keep a detailed log in Excel of my finds - screen capture below. I think I am more of a clad digger than most on this forum - you folks seem to mostly be about the silver and older coins which of course I like too but I am also still happy with a pockful of clad. There's guys out there pulling more than 10k for sure... Steve in So Az comes to mind... does he know about this forum? I'd love to see him on here.

Nice work on busting the century mark on this hunt! I like the way you have organized your spreadsheet. ice job there too! There's nothing wrong with pulling that clad, Z-man. I have paid for two coils this year that way. Good luck reaching your goal of 10k! Three more century days and your there, dude!

Congrats on that huge milestone! I really like that 15 year AA token. That looks like it's a slightly older one with that script type font. I have one or two of those somewhere...
