    Yesterday's hunt

Got to hunt with my brother yesterday. I had my Whites IDX w/6 inch coil, and he had his 2 month old Fisher F75LTD and 11 inch coil( his 7th outing with it). He would have brought his Minelab or Tesoro but he decided on his Fisher. ( Take THAT, old forum !!! )

Spent 3 1/2 hours at a park and came up with a few finds.

20 minutes in, I had a couple clad coins and this old one on a quarter signal. Dug it at about 7 inches deep.-----1898 Barber quarter.

Dug a fork at 5 inches and it showed silver plate on it. After getting home and researching it, it was a 1923 pattern International &quotride Silverplate.

I also dug 3 wheats and another rat token ( Chuck-E-Cheese-- for those not informed) 8/
My brother got 1 wheat and some clad. One signal he had at 7 inches he had trouble pinpointing it, with his larger coil on his Fisher. My IDX and 6 inch coil just had a very slight click sound in DISC. When I put the toggle switch forward I barely heard it...... but it was there. My brother dug.....exactly where I showed him where----- and brought up a half broken old round ring tab. A used ebay IDX goes up against a new Fisher F75LTD .....

Here are pictures my good items.

Great job finding that sweet Barber quarter. And the three wheaties are always welcome too.
Tomorrow should be a great day, provided nothing stops me from preventing it from not happening.
