    Not all iron is bad

Just to say that in the right spots digging it all does pay off in the form of iron relics.
Buttons, stirrups,Artillery, canteen stoppers, bullet wormers and gun parts are all iron artifacts that are worthy of digging thumbsup01

I dig up my fair share of iron. If you get some recognizable items, it also kind of helps date the site. thumbsup01

I keep a good quantity of iron objects too. I have a nice big fireplace ash rake and the front door lock to an old home, along with many strap hinges. I love the better iron objects. It's them bent, wrought iron, nails I can't stand lol Good thing my machine gets rid of most nails but still breaks through on the better iron.

Depends on where you are hunting if it pays off to dig those iron signals.

WTG. Evan. You just had to show off didnt you. Now they wont look at my old bullets no more. Now I am going to have come east and throw a bunch of pennys all over your hunting site, the new pennys. Ha. By the way that bullet worm would go with my bullet I found last year at Trenton.
