UPDATE! My Coin Totals from Texas! (photo of 2 center added.)

Howdy Folks!
I just added up my totals for the time we spent in Texas. While I didn't have the chance to hunt every day, I did manage to take a total of 470 coins that added up to $30.77 in the kitty. I also found my first Kennedy half for the year, my very first ever two cent coin, 2 wheat pennies, and a nice clutch of jewelry items.

Oh, yeah, and I also got a 1964 Rosie. Didn't find that one though, but was given to me by Dimeman while visiting his home in Houston. He gave me two, as one was for Pipster. Many thanks to Dimeman for the nice gesture.

I'll post other finds later, but for now, here is what 470 coins look like after a week of gathering in Texas! I figure it might be easier to recount the whole week in a video.

Looks like a good haul to me, you have a good technique for taking a picture that makes it look like there is more than there actually is.

The large coin hiding under the nickel in that pic must be the 2 cent? The difference in that coin stands out like a sore thumb thumbsup01

Nice haul of $$$$ Congrats on the 2 cent piece. You probably don't have very many places that go back that far where you are from, but when you move into older territories, the older coins start to surface. Great pile of coins.

It looks like you had a great trip, and it's great to have you back, Mel <: . Nice stack of coins. A road trip sounds like a real good idea. I'm trying to get Napa Steve trip down along the California coast. Hit every beach on the way...
