    My site

    Hey all,

Not sure if I will get into trouble for this, I have on other forums, but here goes:

I have a personal metal detecting site that I put up if anyone wants to take a look. Not trying to sell anything or draw people away from this forum, just a site for me to show my finds, talk about my experiences and maybe help someone who is just starting out. It is not a forum, just a personal site. Check it out if you are interested.

    www.detectorjim.com

Leave a note at the guestbook if you are so inclined. I try to update it as often as I can. Thanks,

    Poker Jim

Very nice finds you have on your site.

Wasn't too much left of the Seated Quarter. crying01 But at least there was just enough to be able to identify. That's what counts.

They sure kept coins in circulation for a quite a while back then. It's hard to believe merchants would accept something like that. Now days... I have gotten some very puzzled looks when I try to pass a couple of clad half dollars to pay for a soda at convenience stores. One younger gal even rang 3 up as dollar coins. She didn't want to take my word for it until I told her to look at the back of the coin. lol ... sad, but true.

    Great stuff Poker Jim. thumbsup01

It worked Tim. It doesn't show up right away because I have to validate entries before they can be viewed. Keeps out the spammers. It's on there now, thanks for taking a look.
