    Plugged Nickel

    For years folks have been telling me I ain't worth a plugged nickel.

    Today I found one.

    The blasted thing just doesn't look like me. Not sure what they were talking about.

    Ouch, that had to hurt lol Either it's an expensive washer or someone is a real good shot with a .22.

    Neato Find,not plugged but drilled and they did not make it all the way thru,you can see the burrs where they stopped and the nickle just spun out,nickle is kinda hard to drill in,so much for my Perry Mason moment

    Interesting find. Reminds me of the cut up silver dime I found. Why would someone do that?

    Have you seen the myth busters about shooting the silver dollars? Apparently it takes a LOT of power to pierce a silver coin. No period pistol could do it.
